Effortless File Management with Source Files - Git Storage

Source Files offers seamless integration for managing your Git repositories, enhancing collaboration and version control for teams.
Source Files offers a streamlined approach to accessing GitHub, GitLab, and BitBucket through the Finder and Files app without the need to clone repositories or commit changes.
By leveraging REST APIs instead of the traditional Git protocol, Source Files allows for quick editing of files within repositories of any size:
- Simply drag a repository URL to the Finder
- Browse the directory that instantly appears
- Open and edit files in your preferred application
Source Files prioritizes a file-centric approach which results in a commit for every file edit made. The app can be configured to operate in a branch where a more lenient commit history is acceptable, with the possibility of merging changes back using pull requests. For projects requiring a clean commit history across all branches, consider using conventional Git clients such as Working Copy or Tower.
The application provides robust automation support with Shortcuts actions for listing, downloading, uploading, and moving files.
Users can easily upload files from the Mac services menu and share sheet, benefitting from swift processing as directories for various file types are remembered.
The functionalities of downloading and uploading files are exclusive to Pro features. A 7-day free trial of all Pro capabilities is available for exploration before opting for a monthly subscription or purchasing a Lifetime unlock, valid across iPhone, iPad, and Mac platforms.
Note that Source Files is subject to restrictions imposed by GitHub, GitLab, and BitBucket API quotas which are contingent on individual account privileges.
